Polyester Forming Fabric can be divided into 4-shed, 5-shed, 8-shed, 16-shed, 20-shed and 24-shed according to the weaving type, etc.
Polyester Forming Fabric can be divided into single layer fabric, double layer fabric, two-and a half layer fabric and three-layer fabric according to the category.
4-shed series single layer forming fabric have good drainability, light fabric mark , mainly used for producing cultural paper, electrostatic copying paper, news paper.
5-shed series single layer forming fabric ,its fabric surface is wear resistant, better drainability than 4-shed,high fiber support index ,good fluidity, long life time ,mainly used for producing writing paper , printing paper, news paper, paper for remanding higher drainability etc. Suitable for common fourdrinier paper machine.
8-shed single layer polyester forming fabric, its fabric surface is wear resistant, better drainability than 5-shed,long life time mainly used for producing kraft paper, cardboard , corrugated paper, linerboard, etc. Suitable for common fourdrinier paper machine.
8-shed double layer fabric have good stability, good airpermeability and good drainability,it is suitable for producing medium and high grades cultural paper and special yoshire paper. Suitable for medium and high speed paper making machine. But it is used for less now and it is replaced by 16-shed double and a half layer.
16-shed double and a half layer polyester forming fabric :On the basis of double layer , it use 8- shed attached supporting weft as weaving type clinging to paper surface, thus it can increase the retention rate of fiber and filler ,it use thick diameter monofilament as bottom weft clinging to paper machine and use the manner of 16-shed as one group longspan double warp press weft ,then it increase the stiffness of the fabric and bowedweft of bottom weft and increase contact surface for fabric and dewatering clements for paper machine and increae wear resistence for fabric and long life time and excellent stability. it is suitable for producing quality cultural paper, such as offset printing paper, copperplate paper, newsprint and cigarette paper series (wrap paper and filter tips paper),toilet paper, tissue paper Also is could be used for producing wrapping paper, medium-high grades kraft paper, cardboard paper. It usually can be used on stacked paper machine as surface fabric, lining fabric, core fabric and bottom fabric of the board paper etc. Suitable for medium and high speed paper making machine.
20-shed and 24-shed triple layer polyester forming fabric (SSB forming fabric):it make fabric surface clinging to paper and clinging to paper machine use different warp or the same warp ,use different weft, different weaving texture to weave to two different performance for two fabric layer,the same time it make the weft of surface fabric joint two fabric layer to become one whole as three layer forming fabric and its surface clinging paper is smooth and delicate and fabric surface of paper machine is compact and wear resistance so its overall structure stability, good drainability and high retention rate which is suitable for producing high grade newspaper,cultural paper and yoshire paper. Suitable for high speed paper making machine.
